Od marca 2017 grupa uczniów z klasy 3c ze Szkoły Podstawowej
nr 211 z Oddziałami Integracyjnymi im. J. Korczaka (wcześniej Gimnazjum nr 44
im. Gen. P. Chrzanowskiego) w Warszawie uczestniczy ze szkołą Gymnasium z Telfs
z Austrii w projekcie edukacyjnym „Growing up in the modern world”, którego
celem jest poznanie problemów społecznych takich jak bieda, brak edukacji, czy
bezdomność, zwiększenie tolerancji wobec innych kultur oraz zastanowienie się
nad wpływem różnorodnych zjawisk społeczno-gospodarczych na dorastanie i
życiowe wybory. Mamy nadzieję, że projekt stanie się także motywacją do nauki
języków obcych (angielskiego i niemieckiego) i pomoże uczniom w nabyciu
umiejętności niezbędnych dla rozwoju osobistego oraz zwiększenia poczucia
własnej wartości.
Nasza współpraca ze szkołą z Telfs rozpoczęła się w 2011
roku, kiedy Centrum Olimpijskie zaproponowało udział we wspieranym przez MKOL
projekcie YOG Mile związanym z Zimowymi Igrzyskami Olimpijskimi Młodzieży. Nasi uczniowie spełniali rolę ambasadorów
Polski. Biorące w programie szkoły nawiązywały kontakt z wyznaczonymi szkołami
z różnych stron świata. Rezultatem takiej wymiany informacji była wystawa Youth
Olympic World Mile przygotowana na powitanie młodych sportowców z całego świata
i prezentująca kraje biorące udział w igrzyskach. Jednym z efektów tego projektu był wyjazd 4
uczennic naszej szkoły na ceremonię rozpoczęcia igrzysk.
W trakcie realizacji projektu działania projektowe prowadzone
są na wspólnej platformie OneNote, jednak duża ich część została zaplanowana na
wizytę partnerską naszych uczniów w Austrii w dniach od 3.02 do 10.02.2018. Podczas wizyty uczniowie nie tylko
uczestniczyli w zajęciach szkolnych i zwiedzali okolicę. Najważniejszym punktem
programu była alternatywna wycieczka po Innsbrucku, podczas której poznawaliśmy
prowadzone przez różne organizacje punkty pomocy społecznej dla osób
dotkniętych bezdomnością, bezrobociem, biedą, czy narkomanią i alkoholizmem.
Mieliśmy niezwykłą okazję porozmawiania z bezdomnym podczas wizyty w
noclegowni, w której zjedliśmy także posiłek przygotowany przez pracujących tam
wolontariuszy. Nasi partnerzy z Austrii odwiedzą nas w
maju 2018.
W dniach 3.02 - 10.02.2018 grupa uczniów z klasy 3c wyjechała na wymianę do Telfs w Austrii. Oto relacja w języku angielskim.
Sunday 4.02.2018
After almost 11 hours of travelling by train we finally got off it at 7 am and went sightseeing Vienna - the capital city of Austria. It is a huge city with almost 2 million population. The city is situated by Danube in the northeastern part of Austria. We went form the railway station to the town hall by tram Next we started sightseeing the old city. We saw buildings of the university and the parliament. We took photos of the Maria Theresa's Monument, the Hofburg Royal Castle and the St. Stephen's cathedral. Near the church there is a high tower - we climbed to the top of it. Then we caught the train to Innsbruck. During the run we admired the beautiful alpine landscapes. In Innsbruck we caught the next train to Telfs - a small town in Tirol. There our Austrian friends took us to their houses.

Monday was the first day of school. Our first lesson started at 7.55 . We met students and we got a task to find similarities in our behavior, hobbies etc. Second lesson was music with Mr Huber who taught us the song called "Still ist das Land" - „Wieś jest Cicha”. After that we sang this song for the first time with whole choir. After few tries we went to eat dinner to the school sports centre. We ate delicious burgers. Then we went to the museum, where we learned about history of Telfs. That was the last attraction of this day.

Tuesday 6.02.2018
Today was the day of trip to Innsbruck. We went there together with the rest of our classmates and Austrian students by train. After arriving we went to Young Caritas to have an „Alternative walking tour”. First, we showed Austrians the presentations about homelessness in Warsaw. Austrians presented the pyramid of the most important things in our lives. We also had a chance to see Alexi House and got an opportunity to eat there a lunch. Then we went to the Old City and had a field game. It took us 3 hours. After the game we headed to the railway station to go home. We think it was a wonderful day. Although it was pretty cold and the weather was sunny but still freezing, we believe it was worth it. The beautiful view of the mountains and the feeling of cold that are not typical for Poland are encouraged to visit this place.
Wednesday 7.02.2018
On Wednesday we did a lot of things. Firstly we started the day with 1 hour of our beautiful song reherseal. Then we went to the bus stop to get to Seefeld. There we rented snow shoes and went to the bottom of a mountain. When we got there most of us put on our snow shoes, but some of us couldn’t go hiking and took a normal trail. It lasted 3 hours for the hikers to get to the top and it took only 40 minutes for the rest. When we reached our destination we had a wonderful wienerschnitzel. Everybody was so exhausted, that all of us went back to Seefeld just walking. From there we took the bus back to Telfs
Thursday 8.02.2018
Today we were in Innsbruck to see the ski jumping hill. We went on top of this object and had a beautiful view of the town. To have this experience we had to hike up the hill which was really tiring for us. After that we went to the centre of Innsbruck and had free time. Some of us went to eat something and others went shopping. We could also see some architecture. After all of that we went to our homes to pack our things for the next day and to watch some TV shows or films.
Friday 9.02.2018
Today we went to school to have normal lessons with our Austrian friends. At first we had two English lessons, one of them was led by our English teacher Mrs Zawadzka. We was talking on them about daily dilemmas and the differences between school in Austria and Poland. On the third lesson we worked with our partners. We had to tell shortly to others what we were doing on which day. On the next two lessons we had to join our partners and go with them to different classes depending on their plan. Then the headmaster of the Austrian school said goodbye to us. We also presented a summary of the whole exchange to the headmaster, students and parents. On the last lesson we played a game with Mrs Christina. After school we went to eat lunch in the shopping center. Then we went to the station to go home by train.
